I am not sure why I started down this road. I love the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and always in awe of stained glass in churches and cathedrals. I decided recently to try stained glass. I went into a glass store, not knowing what I was looking for and the owner told me I was in a fused glass shop. Next thing I know, I found myself taking classes. I eventually want to learn how to do incorporate glass and metal into sculptures. There just aren’t enough hours in the day.
People are like stained – glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
